Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1965 Shelby Cobra Replica. This beautiful example is a Can-Am Motorcars 427 S/C. This Cobra has seen long term ownership and only 6500 miles since the build . The engine is a Performance Built 429 Big Block. It has an aluminum intake manifold, Holley carburetor, MSD electronic ignition, headers, and an aluminum radiator with automatic electric fans. The transmission is a Tremec 5 speed manual and the rear end is a Ford 9 inch with detroit locker differential. The car has coils and a 4 link suspension in the rear. The car stops with discs up front and drums in the rear. The interior presents very well. It has SW gauges that work perfectly, a Moto-Lita wood trim steering wheel, and a bluetooth capable JVC stereo system. The paint is very good and the body is great. This Cobra was optioned with lots of add-ons which include sun visors and wind wings, chrome side pipes, a chrome single roll hoop, racing style fuel door, quick jack front and rear bumpers, a hood scoop, a fire extinguisher, dash mounted rear-view mirror, electric windshield wipers and bullet style side mirrors. The car rides on 15” Halibrand knock off wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
