Restored! 12V Converted.
This 1928 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup was assembled September 5, 1928. This Ford spent most of its life in California and underwent a restoration in 2014. For better drivability and reliability, a Winfield comp head was added to the engine giving 6:1 compression. Additionally, the truck was converted to a 12V alternator system. Spark plugs, water pump, starter, and distributor were changed. A heavy duty 10 fin per inch radiator has also been installed. To help the truck steer, a Ford F100 steering box conversion has been completed. Everything is functional and in good working order. Invoices are included for recent work and parts during the refurbishment. The paint and chrome show very well with only minor flaws. The black interior is in excellent shape. The LeBaron Bonney folding convertible top is like new. This Model A competed in a Model A Ford Club of America judged event. It was awarded Bronze and both the certificate, and the judging sheets are included in the sale.
This is a special opportunity to own a rare and unique, restored condition Model A Roadster Pickup with provenance and with all the desirable updates!
